I guess that is what happens when one dives into work that is like a raging river. In case you were wondering -- yes, I am still alive and kicking ... and running :) In fact, my left heel and right knee ache from the run this morning. A 'nice' kind of ache, the kind that only runners can understand. Something like a badge (or should I say limp?) of honour that we display with some pride, much to the amusement of non-runners :P
Am looking forward to my next major run, the Newton 30k race, on 10.10.10. That should be a nice build-up towards the Singapore Marathon in December. Even though training runs haven't been as regular as they should have been, I am still very excited about taking part in a proper road race again, just to soak up the atmosphere. Despite having been back in the tropics for more than a year now, I still miss the cool and dry runs in Minnesota, especially this time of the year when autumn beckons and running conditions are ideal.
That's all I have time for today. Till the next post, take care and happy running :)

Like this line from yours; In fact, my left heel and right knee ache from the run this morning. A 'nice' kind of ache, the kind that only runners can understand.
